Soylent Green Review. It was a beautiful day sprinkly. Great to lie on the couch and watch a movie. Flip through the channels, I found “Soylent Green“. This is an Oldie that everyone has heard about but few have probably seen. It takes place in the future of New York, which is overcrowded and underfed. My kind of movie! It will really come to fruition.
Anyway, the premise of this movie is great, but the film itself is pretty boring. It was probably a blockbuster day return in 1979. This would be a great movie to remake the standards of today. I am generally against remakes, but I think it would be a good candidate. And what ho? According to IMDB a renaming is scheduled to be released in 2012. How appropriate. The old version is still a must. It is a classic anyway. Soylent Green.
