Shark Attack. Perris Romoland a teenager and high school age swimmer was killed this morning when he was attacked by a shark while body boarding off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in Santa Barbara County. Lucas Ransom Ransom, 19, was in the water about 100 yards from the surf beach around 8:50, when a shark suddenly pulled underwater, according to the Santa Barbara Sheriff Department.
