Facetime Beta for Download
Apple took a few minutes fast in the back for the event today to announce FaceTime Mac OS X. Transition seems natural, since most Macs have a built-in webcam for years, and this type of vertical integration is the claim of Apple fame. Of course, they must provide the full service of a circle and the only question was when it really begin.
Steve Jobs did not spend much time on the announcement, especially since it’s pretty simple. So simple that there was only a quick demo, and it seems that you expect – nice and simple. Best of all, Mac users can download the beta right. FaceTime’s future is not quite clear now since the application is only available in beta. But it is just free and available directly from Apple. Chances are Apple OS X application quietly move from beta later in the future when its full potential is released. Download here the facetime beta.
