Earthquake in Oklahoma, Residents as far south as the DFW Metroplex reported feeling the quake on Wednesday. As part of Bryan and Atoka Counties, Oklahoma. Chris Severy reports. The phones lit up like a Christmas tree just after nine o’clock Wednesday morning with reports of something wrong here, an earthquake. Evelyn Rhodes lived in Caney, OK for the past 24 years. And Wednesday morning, well, let’s just say it was not quite what she expected. “I felt something really hard. And then I looked and saw my walls movin “I called a few people. So I called the sheriff’s office and they confirmed that it was an earthquake,” said Rhodes. See her move walls, Rhodes figured it best to check the damage.

Rhodes added, “I was afraid. I was scared. I mean, I do not know what happened. I do not know if someone ran into the house by chance, and I got up, so I went out and see what happened and I could not see the damage.”  Earthquake in Oklahoma. Rhodes said, “I was very pleased that we have no damage, and I hope nobody else does too.” Dalton added, “no reports of damage at all.
