Bexar County Appraisal District

Bexar County appraisal district is responsible for property valuation and business for personal property tax. Bexar County appraisal district does not levy property taxes. Tax Court of units in the district perform the evaluation of tax assessment and the process of tax collection. Bexar County Board is responsible for managing the assessment district. The board appoints the chief assessor, the taxpayer liaison officer, and Bexar County Assessment Review Board.

Bexar County Assessor Chief heads the district office and is responsible for assessing the taxable assessment in the Assessment District.
